1. Eligibility

The Jokerz.com Shamrock Chuckle Joke Contest 2014 (the Contest) is open to legal residents of the fifty (50) United States and the District of Columbia who are at least eighteen (18) years old at the time of entry. Employees of Jokerz Media, LLC and other companies associated with the promotion of the Contest, and their respective parents, subsidiaries, affiliates and advertising and promotion agencies as well as the immediate family (spouse, parents, siblings, and children) and household members of each such employee are not eligible. The Contest is subject to federal, state, and local laws and regulations.

2. Sponsor

The Contest is sponsored by Jokerz Media, LLC, located at 888 3rd Street NW, Atlanta, GA 30138 USA.

3. Winner Selection

The winner of the contest will be selected based upon end-user voting on joke submissions that have been accepted into the contest. Employees of Jokerz Media will review entrants to ensure they match the submission rules (section 5 below). Users are allowed to vote up to one (1) time for each joke, every 24 hours. Votes from anonymous proxies are not accepted and all voting is monitored for suspicious activities. If suspicious activity is detected, Jokerz Media reserves the right to eliminate suspicious voting or cancel the contest, at its sole discretion.

4. Winner Notification

Winners will be notified within 14 days after the voting end date, as specified on the contest web page. Inability to contact a winner may result in disqualification and selection of an alternate winner.

5. Submission Rules

1. Participants must be registered users of the website to submit jokes for the contest.
2. Users may vote for jokes without registering, but voting will be restricted based on their IP address to prevent voting fraud. Users utilizing anonymous proxy servers to vote, will not have their vote accepted.
3. Jokes must be related to the joke categories of Irish Jokes, Bar Jokes, and Alcohol-related Jokes to be considered for the contest.
4. Jokes will be flagged as kid-friendly, office-friendly, and highly dirty or offensive as determined appropriate by Jokerz Media employees. Participants recognize that users have the right to filter the jokes they see, which may cause their joke to not be seen by some users, and therefore not voted upon.
5. Submitted jokes must be original material or non-copyrighted jokes that are not the same or very similar to current library of jokes.

6. General Conditions

1. Participants hereby grant Jokerz Media, LLC, a non-exclusive, perpetual, and worldwide license to use the submitted joke within our web site and applications without further compensation. Participants represent and warrant that they have full legal right, power and authority to grant Jokerz Media the foregoing license and if applicable, have secured all necessary rights from any participants in, and contributors to, their submission in order to grant such a license.
2. Jokerz Media, LLC, is under no obligation to accept any submission, if we determine, at our sole discretion that the joke doesn't meet the submission rules or would be suitable for the contest.
3. Winners will be required to execute and return a Certificate of Eligibility, Consent, and General Release form within 14 days of notification. Non-compliance with this time period may result in disqualification and selection of an alternate winner. Any income tax liability is the sole responsibility of the winner.

7. Conduct

All contest participants agree to be bound by these Official Rules. Jokerz Media, LLC, in its sole discretion, reserves the right to disqualify any person it finds to be tampering with the entry process, the operation of its web site or is otherwise in violation of these rules.

8. Limitation of Liability

Jokerz Media, LLC, is not responsible for late, lost or misdirected email or for any computer, online, telephone or technical malfunctions that may occur. If for any reason, the contest is not capable of running as planned, including infection by computer virus, bugs, tampering, unauthorized intervention or technical failures of any sort, Jokerz Media, LLC, may cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the contest. Entrants further agree to release Jokerz Media, LLC, from any liability resulting from, or related to participation in the contest.

9. Winners List
